kæmenær (OSw) noun

According to other sources a low-ranking, albeit important, member of the town raþ (q.v.); an official responsible for the town’s finances and accounting. Appears once collecting all of the town’s income together with the town clerk or other members of the raþ and accounting for these to the foghati (q.v.) and borghamæstare (q.v.).
