Wherein is
Communicated the chiefest Intelligence from his Excellencie, the
Lord Gen. Fairfax, and his Army; the daily proceedings of the
Lord Lieut. Gen. Of Ireland; And the most Remarkablest Newes
from the Declared King of SCOTS, &c.
From Munday the 9 of July, to Munday the 16 of July.

affected Persons) for the benefit of the Common-Wealth.
Beginning Munday,July 9.
This day the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland (being upon his advance)
intreated the Houses favour in the behalfe of one M.
Hen. Cromwell Esq. (who is allyed to his Lordship) a Delinquent,
and desired the House that they would be pleased to
take off the Sequestration of the Estate; which at his Lordships
Request was freely and wholly discharged, and all
sequestrators &c, were to give obedience thereunto.
There was also a Petition presented to the House, by the Officers now engaged
(under the Lo: Lieut.)for Ireland, to this effect; viz. That neither prophane
Swearing, Drunkennesse, Uncleannesse, open abuse on the Lords Day, &c. may
be tollerated; and that all proceedings in Law may be in English, to the end that
Justice may be cheap, certaine,and speedy; and that if any Suite be commenced against
any man,it may be determined by 3 honest men of the Hundred,County,or
Parish,where the Defendant lives, and those to be chosen yearely: and in case an
agreement cannot be made by them,they then to certifie the state of the businesse
to the Court. That all mens Lands and Houses may be Registred in every Parish,
to prevent Law-quarrells. That Tythes may be taken away, and two shillings
per pound set upon Lands,and one shilling fix pence upon Houses. That publique
Debts may be paid, before gratuities to particular Friends bestowed. That
publique Treasurers be Speedily accounted with, and Delinquents made exemplars;
