of Some affaires and transactions,
Civill and Military, both Forraigne
and Domestique.

From Tuesday, January the 15. to Tuesday
January the 22. 1649
Paris the 19/9 of January, 16 50/49
MY last was of the 13 Instant.
At last, the Prince of Conde hath plaid so many
tricks, that he hath been put in a place of security,
and all the heads of his Family that were able
to doe any hurt.
Last Monday morning the Queene Regent sent
to the Duke of Longuiville to Intreat him to come
that day about Evening to the upper Counsell,
for an Affaire of great importance; about Noone sheet sent him word,
that the businesse was put off till the next day.
And Yesterday about fix at night, the Prince of Conde, the Prince of
Contj, and the said Duke, being come for that purpose to the Pallace
Cardinall, into the Queene's chamber, shee fitting by the fire complaining
of some Indisposition; they entred into her closet, with the
Duke of Anjon. Presently after all the Doores neare to the said Closet
being shut, Mr. de Guitault, and Mr. de Comminges, Captains of the
said Queene's Guards, came in and declared unto the said Prince, de
Conde, Prince de Conij, and Duke of Longusville, that they had order
