One scribe, John Holyns, writing in a Secretary script. Characteristics: 2-shaped r; e-shaped ampersand; single compartment g; a with pointed head; angular flourishing on some top line ascenders. Note by scribe: f. 1 - 'assit principio sancta Maria meo Q. J. Holyns' written in same hand as the text.

First page only, two-line red initial and first letter of each line tinted red.
