Honored Sir
I find in the Newes Booke That the Parliament appoynted (Iuly 20: instant) severall Committees, for divers puposes, & among them, one to consider of provisions for the Poore; & another to receiue proposalls for the profit & welfare of the Common wealth, also to advance & encourage Learning, honest designes &c: I suppose (Sir) it may not be vnseasonable to acquaint them with the [4 letters deleted] profitable worke of Planting Fruit trees; And if all or some of the Committee haue my poore labours to consider of, [left margin: with the Designe for Plenty.] who knowes but god would make it prosperous in their hands for the good of this, & succeeding Generations. Sir I leaue this to your consideration & Iudgment, & pray for your & the prosperity of the Church of god. Desiring to vnderstand your apprehensions herein I commend you to God & rest
Iuly 25th                    Sir your engaged Servant
