1 For the bishop's prebend in his cathedral church see DA.DA.PB.01. By the early to mid fifteenth century the church of Glascwm, valued at Lsd13.6.8. was also appropriated to the bishop (T 295); this church was apparently not appropriated by the mid thirteenth century and perhaps not at the time of the taxatio (see DA.BC.EL.01). For another church, Llangyfelach valued at Lsd10., apparently 'appropriated' to the bishop, at least by the early fourteenth century, see DA.CM.GO.01; but this church does not appear as part of the bishop's income in the listing of the early to mid fifteenth century (T 295). The same is also true of the prebendal church of Llanarth, in the collegiate church of Llanddewi-Brefi, valued at Lsd6.13.4., for which see DA.CG.SA.17. In neither of these cases, of Llangyfelach and Llanarth, is it clear that the bishop possessed rectoral income 'ad proprios usus'. Taxatio Ecclesiastica Angliae et Walliae Auctoritate Papae Nicholai IV, ed. T.Astle & S.Ayscough (London, Record Commission, 1802) p.295 2 These are the bishop's temporalities in his own diocese, and listed as in the archdeaconry of St Davids (T 277). (Temporalities, in addition, 'apud Egforton', in the diocese of Bath and Wells, valued at Lsd0.3.4., were listed in error, 'que dicebantur esse episcopi Menevensis ubi nichil habet': T 202.) For a detailed survey of the bishop's lands and rents in 1326 see BlackBookStD (edited from BL Add. 34135).
