I joined the University of Sheffield in 2013 and have experience in a variety of different roles, including international student recruitment, which has taken me all around the world.

As Research Centre Manager for the Digital Humanities Institute, I support the Director of the DHI with strategy and planning, projects management, financial management and HR.

I lead and implement significant components of the DHI’s strategic plans, ensuring their effective delivery in partnership with academic and senior faculty colleagues. I support the development and delivery of a robust pipeline for external grant applications, working closely with internal teams as well as external partners and institutions. I facilitate collaboration arrangements, manage budgets, and address logistical needs for funding proposals.

My role also includes overseeing the delivery of the DHI’s externally funded research projects and publications. Responsibilities include stakeholder coordination, financial management, recruitment of project personnel, and process improvement. Additionally, I lead financial planning and budgeting for the DHI’s research services, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective income generation.
