Battle of Shrewsbury

Battle which took place on 21 July 1403 between the forces of king Henry IV and rebels, led by Henry Percy, earl of Northumberland, and Thomas, earl of Worcester, who claimed that king Richard II was still alive, from which the royal army emerged victorious. A chapel built on/near the site commemorates the battle.
