Miniatures
Below are thumbnail images of all the pages containing miniatures currently photographed for the collection of the Online
Froissart. Clicking on these thumbnail images will take you to a larger version of the image that is part of the full facsimile
of each of the manuscripts. From there it is then possible to load the high-resolution version of the images in the Virtual
Vellum viewer.
The images are listed here according to the overall order in which they appear in the different manuscripts. A brief summary
of their content is given, followed by a reference to the text that immediately follows the miniature (which often but not
always describes the content of the paintings). In the cases where miniatures appear at slightly different places in different
manuscripts, all the relevant chapter references are listed. Manuscript pages which contain more than one miniature are listed
more than once.
