ALthough I omitted to give you an account of
the strange man taken up (as was reported)
floating near St Andrews, because not with standing
I had the first letter of it from an Officer,
and also a Certifycare from one that I knew, yet
I did not give credit to this relation, yet I cannot now but
let you know of a sad Accident, that did befall Quarter M.
Farley who is Quarter M. to Captain Huttons Troop, of Major
General Biwies Regiment, and Brother to one Captain Farley
of his Highness Regiment of Foot; Thursday the 14 it stant
