WE have nothing in this Nation worth
your notice, save that there is an
expectation of Glengaries personall
appearing in these Parts to give
assurance of his future peaceable
deportment, all things being prepared
and agreed on his part. We see
not the least cloud gathering in the
Hills, and trust this fair weather will hold, that so this
Country may once again be put into a way of improvement
having been much harassed and wasted by the warrs:
The People are not so bitter as formerly and the Civill Authority
of a Councill, much talked on and expected, will
tend exceedingly to their satisfaction.
Here hath not been the least News of Middleton since he
quitted the Country; and if ever he should presume to
returne upon any designe, he will find his power & Interest
