From Chester, November 9:
OUr News from Ireland relates all Acts
of hostility to be at an end there; and
now the only work that busies the eies
and ears of that Nation, is the present
solemn proceeding of the high Court of
Justice, where they have made a good
progress in the just execution of the
hand and Judgment of God, the Avenger
of blod and Murther, having already proceeded against
Col. Walter Bagnall, who had the honor of a beheading, a
thing not usuall in Ireland. There is also one Briget Fits Patrick
wife of Florence Fits Patrick, adjuged to be burnt
for a monstrous Murther: Lewis More and Lewis Demsy,
two Ringleaders in cruelty, were hang'd; and the Lord
Demsy is brought under Triall. The Court proceed very vigorously,
and intend to call many more to Accompt.
