THis day the Petition of the Lead Myners in Derbyshire
also the Petition of the Earl of Rutland against
their diging of his grounds to prejudice was read;
The House upon debate referred the businesse to the
Judges that goe the Northern Circuite to determine
if they can; if not, to report to the House. An
Act passed for the Assizes to be held in Lancaster-Castle,
for the Country Palrtine of Lancaster.
Sir William Dicks businesse which should have been
the first businesse this day, deferred till Munday
Next.
The List of the ships for the next Winters Guard for the Seas, and for Ireland,
the number of Officers, Marriners, and other particulars reported from the committee,
debated and approved of, in order to some further things, to be offered to
the house before their adjournment. The extraordinary charges of Lieu'enant
Gen. Cromwell as chiefe Governour, and Commander in chiefe of Ireland, as to
this preparatory expedition into that nation referred to the consideration of a committee,
to consider thereof and report. The Act and other things, to passe the
House before their adjournment and debate in the time of the rsse, referred to
a Committee selected for that purpose, to consider thereof; and what of them are
of necessity to passe; before that time, and report speedily. The Lord Greys charges
disburst and Arrears, as to publike services, debated, and referred to a Committee
to consider there of, state the same, and report how his Lordship may be satisfied.
