Beginning September 24.
THe happiness of a Nation consists in the Wisdome
of its Governours: But the Childishnes of a
King, brings Desolation on a Kingdom. For
prevention whereof our wife senators in
Parliament, have most Judiciously taken care
for the safety, and settlement of a happy [UNR]
in this Common-wealth. And to prevent scandalous
Writing, Printing and divulging of abusive
Papers, (to the disturbance of the present
Authority, and mis-information of the Nation)
was this day Published, An Act of Parliament:
which (because large) I shall not perticulize.
but omitt, leaving you to the perusall of the
Act it self, being Printed at large.
This day the House fat not at all, having adjourned the Fryday before untill the
next Tuesday following.
This evening Martins Church in the fields was rob'd of some hundreds in place
and money, this sacraligious these hath been of late much used. There is one apprehended
for that at Martins, being discovered in the midst of the day, with or
of the Boals belonging to the Church under his Cloak.
