PASSAGES
OF
PARLIAMENT:
The last proceedings between the Parliaments Army,
in IRELAND, and the King of SCOTS Forces.
Commanded by the Marquess of Ormond, and the Lord Castle Haven.
From the Princes Fleet at Sea, and the Parliaments Navy;
With choyce Intelligence from Forraign parts, containing
these ensuing Heads, viz.
Another great and desperate fight in Ireland the particulars thereof, divers kil'd and
taken prisoners the main body fled, great store of plunder besides Arms and Ammunition.
The Marquesse of Ormonds Demands sent to Leiut. Gen. Jones Letters concerning
the retaking of Drogheda, and surrender of severall other Garrisons upon tearms. A
Message from L. Gen. Jones to the Marquesse of Ormond The Resolution of the declared
King of Scotland and the time and place of his landing in Ireland. Good News from the
Navy, the last proceedings at Kingsale. And the Marriners Declaration touching
the seting up of a King in England.

Nothing more worthy Vindication then Valour the mother of
Victory, which lately took such Ipmression in the heart of that
Renowned Champion Leiutenant Generall Jones, that it brought
forth a Conquest, the splender of which will appeare most
bright in this following Inteligence.
Letters come (this day) for the further Confirmation of
that great defeate given to Ormond, and his Forces, who at their retreat have slighted
severall Garrisons. and that their have been since divers prisoners taken, Sir
Adam Loutes his house leit to the use of our forces, and Ormond himselfe fled to
Kilkenoy.
SIR, Having received in your last much satisfaction touching the proceedings
with you, I thought good to acquaint eou with the best Intelligence here; which
[unr] brief thus viz.
