Beginning Friday Decemb. 29.
THough God be angry with the great City, yet it is not for ever.
There is mercy for those who come in , to worship the King,
the Lord of Hosts.

In a day of its time, there shall bee upon the Bosses of the Horse;
HOLINESSE TO THE LORD. Zech. 14. 20.
the Generall Councell of the Armie (this day) finished
the particulars of the great Moddell for Government, to be presented to the Kingdome,
And chose a Committee to draw up the conclusion, which being done, the
whole will be againe reviewed, and then communicated.
This day Major Pitcher was shot to death in Pauls Church-yard, neer St. Faiths
doore, he had prayed, and shewed repentance all night, and at his death, called for
those appointed to shoot him, he said he forgave them, had them shoot when hee
spread his hands, and so he dyed.
Die Veneris 29 Decemb. 1648.
ORdered by the Commons assembled in Parliament, That is be referred to the Committee
of the Navy, to conferre with Lord Admir all, and to take care that the ship called
the Constant Warwick be bought for the use of the State: And that the said ship bee not
disposed of, without Order of this House.
