ARticles Concluded and agreed betweene Collonell
Hugh Bethell, and Collonell Mathew Boyton
for the surrender of the Castle of Scarborough.
Which accordingly is Surrendred to
Colonell Bethell for the service of the Parliamnt.
1 THat upon the 20th of December 1648. The Castle
of Scarborough shall be surrendred to Col. Hugh Bethell.
Commander is cheife of the Parliaments. Forces before the
Castle, to the use of the Parliament, with all Armes Ordnance,
Ammunition, provisions, and other goods whatsoever
without imbesilment, except what is mentioned in the
insuing Articles
2 That the Governour, Officers, Gentlemen and Souldiers
in the Castle of Scarborough shall march out of the said
