A BRIEFE RELATION
of some affaires and transactions,
Civill and Military, both Forraigne
and Domestique.
Licensed by Gualter Frost Esquire, Secretary to the Councell
of State, according to the direction of the late Act.
From Tuesday, February the 12. to Friday
February the 15. 1649.
Paris, the 16 6 of February, 1,6 5/4;.
MY last was of the 12/3. instant.
This Court hath sojourned more in
Rouen then they thought at first, because
of the Duke of Richelieu's delayes,
whose Wife hath been desirous to make
her conditions,for the subsistence of he[nl]r
Marriage, and have the Tabouret at the
Queens house, which hath been granted
unto her, besides the hopes given to the sayd Duke that he
shall be still Governour of the sayd place, and have the Government
of Anuergne; upon such promises, he came Munday
last to Court. Mr. de Sie. More remained in the sayd
place as before,under the Dutchesse of Anguillon : And their
Majesties are to come from Rouen within a day or two to be
here about the beginning of the next week, and few dayes
