The Juncto now Rejoyce and sing,
and please themselves with dreames;
Preaching up Cromwel to be King
of all their Conquer'd Realmes.
Dread Ireton is so much perplext,
because he cannot Land,
That he doth rave and wrack the Text,
and runs his Ships on Sand.
Prince Rupert gave him such a Blow,
when he came to King late;
To th 'Devil, or Munster he must go,
a sad and doleful tale.
Brave Inchiquin met with him then,
with Bullets set him packing;
That ever since his Ships and Men
are to the Rebels lacking.
STand cleer there, and give me room to lay about me, for all
fair means in the world makes Rebells but the worse; well, I
will better them, or make them worse (if worse can be) I
