Prefect Weekly Account
CONTAINING
The daily proceedings in Parliament, and the Councell of State;
the Results of the General Councel of the Army, with other choise
Intelligence from severall parts of Great Brittain.
Containing these ensuing Heads, viz.
Letters from the Marq of Ormond the Lord Inchiquin to the Queen and her
answer thereunto in behalf of the Prince. The Earl of Brainford return out of
Sweden for Scotland, and the ayd he hath brought to joyn with Montrosse, a
great Ship, and 22 pieces of Ordinance taken at Sea, the proceedings of the parliament
of Scotland, in relation to their new declared King, divers Letters from
Ireland, the news from the West of England, and severall acts of parl. and the common
Councell of the City of London.

AN Act for setling the Militia of the Hamblers
of the Tower was this day read past
the house and was ordered to be printed.
The parliament took into consideration
the erecting of a Lecture at Oxford occasioned
by a Letter, from his Excellency
the Lord Gen, Which was referred to the
Committee for Oxford, to consider of, and
report.
The house also Ordered that Lieut. col.
Nelsey, Mr. Goad, Mr, Appleby to be visiters
for the university of Oxford.
The Parliament passed severall votes
touching Delinquents which have not
perfected their compositions as followeth, vizt.
THe parliament took into consideration these ensuing Resolves, concerning
Delinquents, and voted as followeth:
