Proceedings and discharging of the Lord Goring, Sir John Owen, Major General
Laughorn and col. powel An Act for discharging Delinquents; a letter from one
of the Prince his Agents intercepted, discovering their intent ons concerning England,
Scotland, and Ireland.

A PEtition was this day presented to the House
from many well affected in the County of
Stafford, Wherein they make their humble
Representations and desires. 1 That the
House wil be pleased to proceed in execution
of Justice, impartially upon the principall
Actors and Abettots, of all treasonable
Malignants, yet 10 as mercy may appear in
all such proceedings. 2. That all actors,
and abettors, in such treasonable ingagements
may speedily be put out of all places
of power and trust, and conscientions men
fearing God, and hating covetousness, advanced
into their places. 3. That the
Militia, of the severall Counties may be put into the hands of such persons.
4. That the Lawes of the Nation may be compendiously set forth in our native
Imgnage, that all may know law. 5. That the crying oppression of free-Quarter
may be taken of the Ordinance of Excize so regulated that the poore
