You are free to download our re-keyed texts of George Thomason's Newsbooks for sharing, re-use and adaptation for non-commercial purposes only in accordance with the following Creative Commons License: Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
The dataset consists of plain TXT files. It includes rekeyed texts of a) all newsbooks for the year 1649 and b) all newsbooks for the title Mercurius Politicus (June 1650-April 1660). These are rekeyed texts from low quality images so we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the transcriptions. Further information about the texts can be found here.
