Place of first performance: unknown

Authentic sources: none

Notes: An eighteenth-century set of manuscript parts in A-Wgm, XIII 20026 (Q 18464) includes the dating Rome, 25 April 1770; whether this represents a possible date of composition, or a date and place of copying, is uncertain. Authentic sources for the symphony are unknown. In a catalogue of the Leipzig publisher Breitkopf, from 1775, the symphony is attributed to L. Mozart. It is a curious coincidence that the autograph score of the aria K82 is also dated Rome, 25 April 1770
