Composer and, from 1765 member of the Accademia Filarmonica, Bologna. Fioroni was maestro di cappella at the Duomo, Milan, from 1747; he also directed the choir s at San Marco, Sant' Alessandro and Santa Maria della Visitazione. In 1771, a Te Deum by him was performed as part of the ceremonies marking the wedding of Archduke Ferdinand and Maria Beatrice Ricciarda d'Este; it was for the same occasion that Mozart composed the serenata Ascanio in alba K111.
