Dancer. The son of a well-known dancer, also named Giuseppe, Salamoni worked with his father in London in 1746-1747 and was engaged at new court theatre in Lisbon, where he performed between 1755 and 1757. During the 1770s he danced primarily in Italy, in operas by Galuppi, Traetta, Piccinni, De Majo, Paisiello and, in 1772-1773, Mozart's Lucio Silla K135.
