Italian composer. A student of Nicola Fago and Leonardo Leo at the Naples Conservatorio di Santa Maria della Pietà dei Turchini, Cafaro served from 1759 as secondo maestro at the conservatory and from 1771 as primo maestro of the Royal Chapel.
