A student of Brizio Petrucci, maestro di cappella at the Ferrara Duomo, Agujari was active at Florence in 1764 and in 1768 figured among the `virtuosos` of the Duke of Parma. She later sang in London, from 1775 to 1777. Mozart heard her in Parma and in a letter of 24 March 1770 (letter 168) transcribed some of the more difficult passages she sang.
