Soprano; daughter of the singer and composer Francesco Maggiore, whom the Mozarts met in Frankfurt in 1763 and The Hague in 1765 and wife of the tenor Giuseppe Gallieni. Active in London and Italy from 1768, the Mozarts heard Maggiore-Gallieni in Brescia on 7 February 1771, where she appeared in an opera buffa, possibly Il Carnovale di Venezia by Antonio Boroni or L'amore soldato by Niccolò Tassi.
