I`d never have thought that I`d still be in Milan; but circumstances have decreed otherwise. In any case, it now`s Advent in Salzb., so there`s no music at court, as a result I`m sticking to my plan and will be arriving in Salzb. during the first 2 weeks of December: indeed, if I leave here on 2 or 3 December, I can easily reach Salzb., with God`s help, on the 9th or the 10th. We`re well, praise be to God,, which is the best news I can give you, even though it`s exceptionally cold, if fine. I`ll pick up your letters in Verona if you`ve written again. But you certainly shouldn`t write any more. In the hope of seeing you again soon, we kiss you both many 10000000 times, and I am your old
