Sitting next to Sheffield Arena, the bowl has played host to 'a variety of spectacular events', according to the 'Welcome to Sheffield' website. Most memorable were the Arctic Monkeys' homecoming shows in June 2011, where they played in a custom designed tent. The band played 2 shows and support acts included Sheffield's own Dead Sons and Mabel Love as well as Anna Calvi, The Vaccines and Miles Kane.
Other events have included Music in the Sun.
