fridhskillinger (OSw) noun

A fee paid to the town raþ (q.v.) when purchasing or exchanging landed property in town. Appears only in MESt but is said to be in accordance with old statutes. MESt states that “they”, presumably both buyer and seller, were to pay the fee, but later sources suggest only the buyer paid.
