þyn (OSw) noun

A unit of measure used for grains, particularly seed, usually corresponding to six units of the measure spander (q.v.) or a multiple of some other unit of measure, such as pund (q.v.). Not to be confounded with tunna (q.v.). Also see Appendix D2: Weights and Measures.
