Woodland and forests may be divided between the farmers for different purposes. In UL and VmL skogha skipan is a division of acorn forests with respect to the number of pigs each farmer is allowed.

In Grg Lbþ 199 and Jó Llb 20, it deals specifically with jointly owned land in which one party believes the other is using more resources.
