About the 24th day of July last past one Morgan Cave came to this informant's house in Norwich with a deal box and desired this informant to let him have lodgings which this deponent did. And this informant further saith that about the Thursday following Morgan Cave brought a sack to this informant's house and that Morgan Cave did continue at this informant's house about a fortnight and then went away from this informant's house but left the sack and box at this informant's house but Morgan Cave exchanged with one Deale a [talesman?] in Norwich the goods which were brought to this informant's house in the box and put some other goods therein. And this informant saith that he not finding Cave to return opened the sack and found therein several parcels of women's linen and one petticoat and did cause the same to be cried but nobody yet challenged them. And this informant further saith that Morgan Cave came this day to the informant's house and then this informant told Cave that he had caused the goods to be cried, with which Morgan Cave seemed to be displeased. And this informant further saith that Cave this day brought a mare to this informant's house without a saddle which he said he brought from Lynn.
