The same John Weston being examined to whom he delivered the said wines and goods from aboard the said Barque, saith he discharged the same wines and goods at two several times unto William Hunt, and saith that this examinate was at the filling up of some of the said wines and that Captain Constable reported the rest of the wines were filled up also at knock fargos at such time as the same being 20 tonnes were put aboard this examinate's said barque: and saith that one Hulton one of Captain Constable's men did deliver unto one of Sir Rowland Stanley's men 2 bottles of wine the quantity the quality whereof he knoweth not and heard that he delivered 2 more at one other time to Sir Rowland Stanley's use and saith also that the said Hulton delivered to one Dakens a bottle of sack containing by estimation twelve quarts and saith he also delivered a bottle of sack to John Wright of Helbry and an other bottle of sack to one of Captain Constable's men whose name he this examinate knoweth not And saith further the said Hulton sent over board an hogshead which Captain Constable himself caused to be set [abroad] to the Island of helbry but what quantity of wine was in the same this examinate saith he knoweth not and saith that Mr Massey of Potington by report had an hogshead of sack which this examinate put aboard John Lancelot's boat: and saith also the said Hulton sent to one Richard Wright 2 bottles of sack and saith he heard that Mr Poole of Wirral and divers others ad bottles of sack from this examinate's barque by the delivery or consent of the said Hulton and saith that Browne Captain Fisher's man had 2 jars of oil by either the said Hulton's or Wilkin's delivery and that divers other jars of oyle were sent ashore but how many or to whom they went this examinate saith he knoweth not And this examinate saith further that certain raisins were taken out of a bag and send to Mr Massey of Potington aforesaid and saith also he heard that a firkin of figs were conveyed out the the said barque and that the head of the said firkin was found in the Island of Helbry and saith also that Hulton took out of a pipe a pannier full of prunes but how he bestowed the same this examinate saith he knoweth not.
Examined concerning the premises saith that there were 2 bottles one of sack and an other of tent sold by Hulton to Sir Rowland Stanley's man but for how much money this examinate saith he knoweth not and another bottle of tent sold to Mr Rowland Porle but or how much this examinate knoweth not and another bottle of sack delivered to one Dakins of Wirrall of what quantity this examinate knoweth not and saith Hulton delivered to one Gilbert Bellin a bottle sack and saith he heard the said Bellin sold him a cork for the same bottle of sack and 4s in money and saith Hulton delivered to one Johnes the pilot a bottle of sack and saith oneā¦ Captain Constable's man had a bottle of sack by Hulton's delivery and saith Hulton delivered a remnant of wine in an hogshead to the Island house at Helbry but how much was in the same he this examinate knoweth not and saith Hulton have also a pannier full of Prunes to Mr Hocknell's daughter of Prenton and saith he this examinate heard an hogshead of sack a barrel of figs and a parcel of Raisins were sent to Mr Massey of Potington by Wilkin's appointment and further cannot declare saving that Wilkins sent William Manning's man for a jar of oil which this examinate brought aboard the barque.
