Upon a Sunday... about a month before Christmas last past, George Nelson, in the presence of this deponent and Elizabeth Robinson his wife, in angry, railing and defaming manner said of Frances Sherwood... that she was a whore and drunken whore, which words were then so spoken in the parish of St John of Timberhill in Norwich with many other disgraceful speeches.
George Nelson speaking of Frances Sherwood said in angry, defaming and disgraceful manner that Frances was a whore, an old whore and a drunken whore, and that she did lie drunk in the street, with many other rude and disgraceful speeches, which words were so uttered in the presence of this deponent and her husband in the parish of St John of Timberhill about a month before the Feast of the Nativity of our Lord God last past.
