Upon Sunday last (being the 29th day of June) he and Humphrey Hobarte of Outwell, weaver, had been at Wisbech town drinking very hard and coming homeward through Emneth they also drank at one Samuell's a victualler of Emneth where they stayed until about eight of the clock at night. and then departed and going through Emneth towards Outwell Humphrey Hobarte did throw a cudgel at two geese which were in the highway and killed them both, and then he took up one of them and would have left the other, but this examinant seeing the other goose dead took her also up, and went both together to Outwell and the next day about 7 of the clock at night Hobarte and this examinant carried the same geese to the Widow Lowing's house in Outwell within the Isle of Ely and requested her to dress the same for them.
Who confesseth that upon the said 29th day of January last about eight or nine of the clock at night, he threw a cudgel at two geese which were in the highway and killed them both, and then he took up one of them, and Henry Sommers took up the other, and verifieth the whole confession of Henry Sommers as is in manner and form abovesaid.
