The said examinate deposeth and saith that Robert Read of Bury aforesaid alehousekeeper is usually drunk once every week or ten day[s] at the least and often times very disordered in his drunkenness and that the said Robert Read was yesterday being the 16th day of this instant August drunk in Bury aforesaid for which offence the said informer Thomas Kay prayeth the penalty of the statute may be levied on the said Robert Read for the use of the poor or otherwise that the said Read may be punished according to the law for he said offence.
