Deare freind
These are from Mr Morians Lodging neer Arnhem; I found him writing to Mr Keuffler, & so tooke the opportunitie to desire him to inclose this [to thee?]; only to let you know that I am now come within the Limits of the Low Countries: my last stoppe was at Cleue with Prince Moritz of Nassaw, the Prince Elector <of Brandenberg:> his Deputie in the Dukedom of Cleue & the Marck. in a word I find as much successe as I could desire, & therefore desire you to thank God with me for his mercy to the worke I haue in hand. I haue not time to tell you[altered from yow?] any more then this Generall, that I am come in safety & with successe thus farre towards home; & hope within three or at the most foure dayes to bee at Amsterdam, where I suppose to find of your letters & others good [sto.r.e? blot and alteration]; to which I hope in due tyme to Answer
I met at Cleue with Dr. Romerswinckel; hee is a very honest man, as I suppose: but say nothing yet to any of my beeing here, & of my meeting with him there; for I intend to write to Mr. Thurlow about him when I come to Amsterdam; for now I haue no time, therefore also lett not any bodie know that you haue receiued this at this tyme from me. I commend you & all yours to the grace of God & rest
                 your faithfull & assured freind
