Deare freind
I receiued your last yesterday; & thought to haue answered at Large to some things, but I haue beene kept up by one of the Prince his Counsellours from whom in Ciuilitie I could not bee ridde till now that I haue scarce halfe an houre to tell you; that I am entered here upon action, & think that here will bee a Center unto which all the German Consultations about my busines may & will bee referred as to a head; for the Prince is bent to undertake, & his Counsellours are faithfull & men of great experience; the last weeke I haue imparted unto them[altered] the summe of all that is to bee thought [upon? blot on MS] & now they are in Consultation to digest matters & to let me know what they will doe. I haue sent you here a letter which the Duke of Deux pont hath written to me, to offer all his assistance to my worke, & I make no doubt but hee & this Prince will concurre in counsell & action [left margin: /] & the rest of their Neighbours will come in to helpe to prepare the way. one thing I [H?: line extending through next three lines of MS to end of sentence] must tell you that concerning your Brandenburg newes here it is not belieued that Sueden & Brandenburg will fall out downe right; but that they understand one another well enough, & will agree, which I hope may bee effected. I haue receiued from Dr Bergius an Answer to the letters I wrote, hee is full of difficulties upon a Royall, and episcopall account; & upon the differences of Religion in England & else where amongst the Reformed in reference to Predestination to which things when I haue answered I will let you haue the Copies.
I haue sent to Mr Secretarie: the Copie of the letter of the Prince Palatin of Deux pont.[H?: underlines & /] Thus I am forced to leaue off; to write <to> some to others which must addresse this, & amongst the rest to Mr Huebner. who tels me that Mr Schlezer hath written to him; I pray remember my seruice to Mr Schlezer, & remember in both your prayers
                   your   most faithfull & affectionat
Cassell this 13th. Nouemb.     freind & seruant in Christ
