Worthie and much respected Mr Hartlib
I thank you for your last <packett> nowe safely to my hands: for the Sueds to entertaine the Confederation there are many reasons, for their owne ends, as now the case stands with them; but for the firme concluding of it with all whose interest therein is requisite; and the success I see many reasons to confirme me in my old opinion. When I have well considered of your discourse of fundamentalls, you shall have my fuller as ansher; in the meane tyme, I am yet of my former opinion; not but that there are such fundamentalls and also determinable; but in respect of the persons that are to agree vpon them, and make vse of them, is all my doubt; I intreate you not to sound abroad or divulge my former letter, written raptim, whereof I have no copie; befor you transcribe it and send me my originall. I pray god to bless your and all other good mens endeavours leading to the peace of the Churches and inlargement of the gospell. So with my kindest respects and best wishes remembered to you, I commend you to god, and rest
your verie loving and observant Friend
