I receiued yours this morning: I prevented your Letter as it concernd Dr: Goodwin whom I waited on yesterday (the first oportunity, after his returne) Hee tould mee he receiued your Letter & Packet formerly sent to him. & he will within this weeke returne you an Answere, if not hindred by his weaknesse, being now, (& also before his returne to Oxon) much payned in his head; he said he would send his Letter to me to be directed to you, which I shall faithfully obserue: if he delay, I shall remind him of it, & giue you an Accompt, I understand Lord Fleetwood & his Lady are shortly to come to London: perhaps I may receiue an Answere of my former desires: I neede say no more to you concerning it.
