Deare freind
in yowr businesse I haue done that which yow desired [me? MS torn] to Mr. Rulice after Conference with Mr. Strezo who approoued the letter which I wrote: this was done the last weeke; & now yow haue here the other to Mr. Rous: I praye God make all usefull unto yowr Comforts & giue me further occasion to serue his glorye in yow as my desire is, & grant the abilities which may bee usefull unto all. I see that the Divines are dilatorye & fearefull to engage themselues; Mr. Hindersons letter is more direct & full; but that shall not hinder me from doing what I shall find God call me to when I shall haue thinges prepared for use, which I shall not neglect to pursue God willing; & to settle me in the waye of doing it without distraction the better, & to free me from other troublesome intanglements arising from without wherunto my sister is also accessorie, I haue obtained the favour of God that Mrs. Moore hath declared hir willingnes to liue with me in that relation of Helpfulnes, which God hath appointed to bee betwixt wife & husband for his glorye. I need not tell yow what settlement this will bring & ease unto my mind to proceed Constantly & Regularly in my aimes, for I suppose yow can represent this to yowr self & to others who may take notice of the matter: Thus in haste I rest
