Deare freind
yowrs of the 10th of May I haue receiued & I see that mine are come to yowr hand wherby yow know that I haue accepted the call & procured my dismission. now I am about the procuring a successour & till that bee done I cannot remoue from the Court to Rotterdam. the Counsell which yow suggest concerning the public seruice is good & I expect the rest which yow promise: I pray yow conferre with Mr Auerye concerning the points which I haue written to yow & him & lette me haue some answer. I will also expect yowr aduertisement concerning that which I should write unto the houses concerning my comming to the Assembly. in the meane tyme I will doe all my possible endevours to prepare all for my transport: the matter of money hath brought me hither to gette something upon credit to doe necessarie matters when I shall bee reddie to go: for I see that the payment due from the Court will bee slow. I must go from hence to Bueren where now the Court is & my attendance there these two weekes by past hath hindered me from writing to yow: & now I haue not much to adde at this present but that I am preparing all for my entrie, & as soone as matters are in a reddines yow shall heare from me: I praye cause these [word deleted] inclosed come right to hand by which meanes yow shall oblige
