Sir
I haue receiued two Letteres from my countrymen and two Exemplar of the destruction of Lesna I am sorry to heare that you are not well, I wishe and desire your welfare from the Almighty that you may be still usefull to those distressed ones beyond the seas, in my last letter I desired to know whither they haue send any body to petion in the behalfe of the rest or whither the thinge be comitted to you, and how farre haue you proceeded in the thing, I motion <it> to diuers who promissed to doe in it what possible may be, to entreate his highnesse, Lord fleetwoode, and the Parlament that the thing may be taken into consideration I make acount to send<direct> some to your house [when?] they goe to London whom you may enforme how farre you haue proceeded in it, as for priuate collection I would not wishe because it may hinder the publike, I send you a copie of those letters (you send me first) translated into English by a good scholar diuers wounder that it was not printed in English that the uulgar people may know etc. you may leaue out what you thinke fitting; Pray remember me to my country men, and I desire that. [W.?] Miranda may come downe in a Vessel with an honest man it shall be at my charges this young man will show him where there vessell layes and what day they goe I thinke it is better and cheaper for him to come that way then by the carier I desire to see him here, this opportunitie, you neede not pay this bearer for the letter for I pay him alwayes, I would things might be done with what speede possible I hope God will make a way for them undoe those afflicte them. Zeph. 3. [v,19,?] God will accoplish diuers promises to them that are mentioned in that chaper. I pray let me heare from you by my countrieman whom I long to see. and earnestly desire health and strenght and comfortes from aboue vpon your selfe and yours. in hast.
