Sir/
I haue sent to you (according to my promise) the Narratiue of the Iews Councill near Buda; whether true, or false, I know not; but this I can say, that this manuscript hath fewer faults in it than that out of which I transcribed; though mine shold have had fewer, if I had leisure now to read it over, & to amend it. My soul longs for the truth of not only such leane stories, & beginnings of their looking towards Christ, as are herein expressed, but the spirit of Christ to come upon them, when they shall savingly look upon him, whom they have crucified. We looked that annus 1650 shold p haue produced somwhat towards their conversion, & the worlds great restoracion; herupon I am somwhat bold in my addresses to the faithfull, & mercifull God, <to say> that the 1652 year is passing, & yet no tidings of their return. But a Nation shall be born in a day, when Gods time is come; & it shall be gods work, & not mans; & it comforts me that he hath sayd that he will hasten it in its time. Amen, O gracious, & faithfull father.
When you haue don with this relacion, I pray enclose it, & leaue it with Capt Vaux, the houskeeper of White-hall, for me. I pray God direct you, me, & all that loue him, to the patient waiting for his comming.
Your affectionate friend to serue you
