Sir,
It was my being disappointed from hence that caused my failing to visite you as I spake when I met with you but now wee your Friends here are well nigh ready, you shall within fewe daies receive from vs a Testimony of our love & respect, for yourselfe are intended by vs whom wee assuredly know, thogh wee thinke worthily of Dr Kinner yet since our Helpe is noe greate matter wee preferre our nearer Neighbour, & since yourselfe are as publike as any wee doe not thinke that wee cannot answere publike intentions any where rather then in yourselfe. Sir, this only for a present excuse & account from him who at present is much overborne with extraordinary Busines, but more from mee within few daies.
