I confess I receiued your Laste with sume fearfull apprehentions; finding by it the poste was come and noe Letter from mr Dury which gaue mee a new occacion of making my recours to him who wisly orders all our concerns with whos will ours should be always one, even in those difficultys that presse most vpon <our> fleshly parte, which is at continually drawing back from taking vp the cross, though that be the directe way to an everlasting crovne: but I consider that must be namly a conformity to him in bearing his cross, and am in sume sort resigned to it, I am sure I would be; which will not hinder my desire to heare from mr Dury by this returne if possible, for vntill then I am vnder exercise, as well as vnder the desires of being approued in the best and Lasting bond
your affectionate freind
