THere is a Patent lately granted under the great seal, &c. For several beneficial uses. As, for raising all sorts of Mines, as Lead, Tinne, Coals, &c. And waters that annoyes them; And for draining and watering Lands, for raising Waters to a considerable height in Cities, &c. And for doing all sorts of works that are done by Winds, Water, Hors-mils: Also for raising very ponderous weights in Water, or on Land, clearing of Creeks or Harbours, making of Rivers Navigable, making of Piers, Walls or Sea-Banks, inclosing of Lands, overflowed by the Sea &c. Also easing great part of the charge in Allom and Salt-works, &c. And carriage of goods to all parts by a new way, &c. Also whiting of Linen Cloath, making it exceeding white in lesse then one weeks time, with lesse prejudice to the cloath then was ever done before. and many other things which for brevity is here omitted. All which the Undertaker will perform at much lesse charge then formerly hath beene done, to the great benefit of the Common-wealth.
     The Undertaker hereof may be spoken with at the Kings-head Inne in South-wark, or at his owne house in Globe-yard on the Banckside, London.
