For Mr Hartlib or Mr Durie, or both.
The bearer, a Iew-borne, being directed unto me by some; and I can understand but litle of his Language: <yet> Because he seemes expert in the Hebrew; and to beleev the Messias is come, & that Iesus is He: and seemes plain in his profession, and <saith he> beleves not ther are 3 Gods, as he thinks Christians do: he saith, he is not a Christian. But he seemes to be ingenuous & docible. I entreat you not to be offended with me, that thus I send him to you, to do for him, according to his Petition, what in you is. Compassion to Banished Iews from Poland, will not be forgotten[altered] by the LORD at the day of Recompences. So beleevs,
                       Your Loving friend
                                H. Iessey.
